Organic Gardening Academy is now open for Trial Memberships- Learn how to garden earth friendly without harmful pesticides and fertilizers

Worldwide and especially in Europe, research on earthworms, worm compost and vermicomposting is dramatically increasing. This is shown eg in scientific congress like CODIS 2008 in Switzerland. Although the scientific community has shown good results in the use of worm products, there is nearly no modern system in Europe, which can produce large amounts of vermicompost. The Austrian VermiGrand earthworm farm has developed the advanced vermicomposting facility VERMIC 3.2. This system is a modular continuous flow vermicomposting system, which uses completely new methods for feeding and harvesting. The system can be heated, cooled and watered automatically, what makes it capable for use at wide temperature ranges. The VermiGrand earthworm farm does offer licences for this knowledge based system now worldwide. You can make best organic fertilizer with great value in large quantity. Use the ADVANCED VERMICOMPOSTING FACILITY ver. 3.2 and profit yourself from low investment and labor costs. Invest in a booming business line now and save years of self development and learning by doing! Interested? Can you do a continual harvest from the bottom and keep feeding the top rather than harvesting the whole bin every 3 months?
What size bottom screen?
You are the leader, thanks.

very impresive…I am very interested in learning about your operation. I have been raising worms for fun but want to get into it as a business.

VermiGrand @ 12:54 pm #

@cheeseasaurus55 , the one, you can find in your backyard soil not, the one you can find in your backyard compost heap – yes! You need composting worms, which you can find in compost, manure, mulch. Ask your neighbour, if you can look in his compost heap, or you have to buy them from worm breeders. Good luck!

@vermigrand like the ones I could
Find in my backyard. If I can’t use them how can I find red wigglers?

VermiGrand @ 1:41 pm #

@cheeseasaurus55 , which one do you mean?

cheeseasaurus55 @ 2:14 pm #

Would I be able to use earthworms in the one I’m making?

VermiGrand @ 2:48 pm #

@jerrydff7 We harvest about 10 to 12 weeks after feeding. Int this time, with our population, we are sure, that the worm cast is done.

jerrydff7 @ 2:57 pm #

how do you know when the worm casting is done???

free6006 @ 3:48 pm #

That’s very good. Can I use the earthworm in my garden for composting? Thank you.

The end bit was very strange the men were walking to the door with the dog but then the dog ran towards the camera backwards as though they were walking backwards to begin with. So was the dog locked in the shed all night? lol.

Hi, in 2:30, I’ve seen that the crumbs are just falling under, what did you use as bedding for it? is it a screen? and are those crumbs are falling by itself? or do you have to shake the bin? thanks
